You may have heard that I've recently taken a job at an inn in New Hampshire. I figure a 2,000 mile journey is as good a time as any to start a blog. Seems this will be a good way to inform people of what's going on with me. First and foremost, I've got to figure out how to use the blog portion of my website. So, this first post is a test. It could be messy. For all I know it may not even make it to the website. All this technology is easy to use right? Easy when you know the right buttons to push. Let's see if I can figure out what buttons do what!
In the meantime, I'll just do a little plug for my current exhibition of encaustic art, Submerged (with Harvey Quilts), which is on display at the Museum of the Gulf Coast in Port Arthur, Texas. May 12th - June 9th. This work is based on the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey which rained down on my hometown of Beaumont, Texas for five days in August of 2017.
